Nine Pride Catering Operations achieve Red Tractor Status

9 catering operations of Pride Catering, the Guildford-based specialist catering contractor, have been awarded Red Tractor accreditation at the company’s recent Management Conference held at Denbies Vineyard in Surrey. The operations at eight schools and one business and industry outlet, have committed to sourcing their fresh meat, vegetables and dairy from accredited Red Tractor suppliers.

Penny Beauchamp, Trade Marketing Manager from Red Tractor commented, “Customers today want to be reassured about their food; we all want quality food that’s affordable and safe to eat. The Red Tractor is an independent mark of quality that guarantees the food we’re buying comes from farms and food companies that meet high standards of food safety and hygiene, animal welfare and environmental protection. The team at Pride Catering have pulled out all the stops to meet the Red Tractor accreditation criteria and will now be able to use the Red Tractor logo to promote those dishes created with Red Tractor ingredients.”
Roger Aldridge, Joint Managing Director of Pride Catering, said “These awards come hot on the heels of our recent Food for Life accreditation awards and achieving Red Tractor status too is one part of our ongoing journey to provide a sustainable catering service to our customers. For schools in particular, parents and Governors want the reassurance that the food is healthy, nutritious and safe for their children. Red Tractor accreditation is another mechanism for us to prove this to them and we’re delighted that our teams have worked together to make this happen.”

Reay School, Lambeth

St. Stephen’s School, Twickenham

The Vineyard School, Richmond upon Thames

St. John the Baptist School, Hampton Wick

Heathfield School, Twickenham
