Pride wins contract for 5 Schools!
17th September 2009

Pride was up against the catering industry giants and a very large field of caterers, but still came top to win 5 Primary School catering contracts in Barnet, London. Starting from September 2009, our new Schools are: Moss Hall Juniors (with 355 pupils), Moss Hall Infants & Nursery (295 pupils), St Mary's CE Primary School (415 pupils), Brookland Juniors (361 pupils) and Brookland Infants (270 pupils). We would like to welcome all the catering staff who have transferred across to Pride, we hope you will be happy working with us to create school meal heaven!
Our catering proposals were lead to success by Joint Managing Director; Tim Price and Operations Manager; Deborah Kenny. Deborah has vast experience of managing catering services in Primary Schools, and of particular importance is her comprehensive understanding of the new school nutrient based food standards and healthy eating choices and how they are implemented.
Deborah plans to achieve Food for Life Flagship Award for the new Schools. FFL encourages practical food education, helps schools transform their food culture and promotes fresh, local, organic and seasonal school meals. These principles fit hand in hand with Pride’s passion for excellence and help explain our success in winning FFL in many of our school contracts.
